This has occurred without precedent for Rajasthan High Court when both a couple will be judges. The Union Ministry of Law and Justice has named Kuldeep Mathur and Shubha Mehta as two new appointed authorities of the Rajasthan High Court. Shubha Mehta's better half Mahendra Goyal is now an appointed authority in the Rajasthan High Court. After the endorsement of the names of both the adjudicators by the Central Government, the arrangement warning has been given by Rashtrapati Bhavan.
With these appointments, the total number of judges in the Rajasthan High Court will now increase from 25 to 27. However, 23 posts are still vacant despite the new appointments.
