IPL 2022: Coach will leave Kolkata after IPL 2022, can join this group

Coach of Kolkata Will Leave After IPL 2022
Kolkata Knight Riders coach Brendon McCullum will leave Kolkata very soon. Actually, he will join the England team as a coach. Although this has not been confirmed by the England Cricket Board, it is expected that his name will be announced soon.

Former New Zealand captain and current Kolkata Knight Riders coach Brendon McCullum has informed the franchise that he will step down from the coaching post after this season. The reason behind his decision is believed to be that he is going to become the next coach of England. According to an English website, he has given information in the recent meeting of the players that he will now leave the responsibility of the coach.

A proper declaration will be made soon by the England Cricket Board that he will be the following mentor of England. Silverwood, the previous England mentor, had left his situation in February following a devastating loss against Australia. He was trailed by Pal Kalingwood as interval mentor. McCullum's training will start with the home series against New Zealand. The three-Test series against New Zealand will begin from June 2, which will be played at Lord's, Nottingham and Leeds. Over the most recent couple of days, a few important choices have been taken in England cricket after Rob Key turned into the Managing Director.

McCullum had shown interest in the gig of England mentor. McCullum, who played 101 Test matches, played his last Test match against Australia in 2016 and in that match he scored 100 years in 54 balls. Discussing his Test profession, he has scored 6,453 runs and has scored 12 centuries and 31 half-hundreds of years. Aside from this, he has played 260 ODIs and 71 T20 matches for New Zealand. In ODIs, he scored 6,083 runs including 5 centuries and 32 half-centuries and 2,140 runs in T20s which included 2 centuries and 13 half-centuries. It is expected that the England team, which is currently going through poor form, will come back in a better way under the captaincy of Ben Stokes and the coaching of McCullum.
