There are old age homes in just 250 areas

As of now, there are old age homes for the old in somewhere around 250 locale of the country. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has given a warning with respect to this. Alongside this, the states have been approached to give its proposition by May 25. Interestingly, out of these, 52 old age homes will be opened in around 33 areas, for which the states should give land or building liberated from cost. In the leftover 70 areas, they will be worked through private intentional associations (NGOs) or trusts.


Old age homes with a capacity of 25 to 50 will be constructed

According to the ministry, in all the districts except 25 districts, these old age homes will have a capacity of 25 people, while in these 25 districts it will have a capacity of fifty people. With this, the ministry has relaxed its rule, in which it was decided that until one old age home is not opened in all the districts, then another old age home will not be opened in any district. Be that as it may, in this warning, the service has distinguished many such areas, where it is wanted to open two advanced age homes at the same time. Nonetheless, the all out number of such regions is nine. Out of these, it has been proposed to open five new advanced age homes all the while in Bhopal.
