Mumbai Police arrived at Bollywood hotshot Salman Khan's home on Monday after a passing danger letter had been shipped off him and his dad, Salim Khan, on Sunday, June 5.

On June 5, Salim Khan's gatekeepers had recognized an unsigned letter at Mumbai's Bandra Bandstand promenade. The message - "tumhara Moose Wala kar denge (you will wind up like Moose Wala)" - has recorded in the letter. The passing danger letter was addressed to Salman Khan as well as his dad, Salim Khan.
Following the revelation of the letter, a FIR was enrolled by Mumbai Police, an authority said. On early Sunday morning, Salim Khan was perched on a seat at the Bandra Bandstand, which is his everyday practice, after a morning walk when a unidentified man gave him a letter which referenced a danger to kill Salim and Salman, the authority said.
Afterward, with the assistance of his security work force, Salim Khan reached the police and a FIR was enlisted under area 506-II (Criminal terrorizing) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at the Bandra police headquarters.
Further examination is in progress, authorities have expressed.
