Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan accused the US of conspiring to oust him from power. In view of that allegation, the visit of Bilawal Bhutto to America is considered important. |
Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will visit the US in this month. It is accepted that he will attempt to eliminate the pressure in the relations between the two nations. Bilawal's visit comes when previous Prime Minister Imran Khan has blamed the US for plotting to bring down his administration.
According to the newspaper News International, Bilawal is going to visit at the invitation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Blinken recently had a phone conversation with Bilawal.
After the fall of the Imran government on April 10, Shahbaz Sharif turned into the Prime Minister and later Bilawal, a partner in the public authority, turned into the Foreign Minister.
Imran had blamed the US for planning to expel him from power. Taking into account that charge, Bilawal's visit to America is viewed as significant. The US State Department dismissed Imran's claims and expressed that there is no reality in it.
