Earthquake in Pakistan There was an earthquake in Pakistan's Balochistan province on Friday morning. More than 80 houses have collapsed due to the earthquake. More than 200 families have become homeless. Relief and rescue work is still on.

The seismic tremor has caused incredible destruction in Balochistan region of Pakistan. Khujdar's representative chief, resigned Major Ilyas Kibzai, told DAN, "A tremendous area of Auranji was impacted by the quake. In excess of 80 houses came to the ground because of the quake, while around 260 houses had significant breaks. A large portion of the houses were made of kutcha. Nal, Jamri, Barang and Nachkan Sonaro Lathi towns of Wadh tehsil were additionally harmed by the quake.


No Death News

Kibzai further added that luckily nobody passed on because of the seismic tremor, as the vast majority of individuals were out of their homes for work. The individuals who were in the house quickly ran out.


More than 200 families homeless

He said more than 200 families became homeless. Soon after the earthquake was reported, relief material including tents, bed sheets, food items and drinking water were sent to the people affected by the earthquake. However, he said that the rescue and relief teams were facing difficulty in reaching the affected villages as they were located in hilly areas. He told that we have sent health teams with medicines. Efforts are also underway to provide emergency shelter to the affected families.
