The seismic tremor has caused incredible destruction in Balochistan region of Pakistan. Khujdar's representative chief, resigned Major Ilyas Kibzai, told DAN, "A tremendous area of Auranji was impacted by the quake. Nal, Jamri, Barang and Nachkan Sonaro Lathi towns of Wadh tehsil were additionally harmed by the quake.
No Death News
Kibzai further added that luckily nobody passed on because of the seismic tremor, as the vast majority of individuals were out of their homes for work. The individuals who were in the house quickly ran out.
More than 200 families homeless
He said more than 200 families became homeless. Soon after the earthquake was reported, relief material including tents, bed sheets, food items and drinking water were sent to the people affected by the earthquake. However, he said that the rescue and relief teams were facing difficulty in reaching the affected villages as they were located in hilly areas. He told that we have sent health teams with medicines. Efforts are also underway to provide emergency shelter to the affected families.
