Citiburo, April 9 (Namaste Telangana): Security has been beefed up for the Shri Rama Navami procession in the city on Sunday under the leadership of Commissioner of Police CV Anand. Starting from Sitarambag, the six-and-a-half kilometer long procession finally reaches the Sultan Bazaar Hanuman Gymnasium. The police took all measures without any obstacles on this route. Special surveillance by CCTV and drone cameras will review the situation from time to time. On the other hand, CP clarified that the procession should be conducted in the same way as allowed by the High Court. The procession will start at 11 am and will continue till 10 pm. From Sitarambag to Boiguda Kaman, Mangalhat PS Road, Jali Hanuman, Dhoolpet, Puranapool, Gandhi Statue, Jummarat Bazaar Mosque, Shankar Sher Hotel, Gauliguda Chaman, Gurdwara, The procession will reach Hanuman Gymnasium via Putlibouli Cross Road and Kothi, police said. In this context, it was revealed that motorists will not be allowed on the respective routes and diversion points have been set up at various places for this purpose.
