New Delhi, Agencies. Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with US President Joe Biden on Monday. This meeting took place through virtual medium at a time when there is a fierce battle going on between Russia and Ukraine. Not only this, the entire world order is moving towards change, due to which the importance of diplomatic initiatives has increased. According to the report of the news agency ANI, during the meeting, US President Biden said that I welcome the humanitarian assistance provided by India to the people of Ukraine who are being victims of the horrific attack.

On the other hand, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that as the two largest and oldest democracies of the world, we are natural partners. The progress that has been made in the bilateral relations between India and the US in the last few years… The new momentum that has been created a decade ago was difficult to imagine. When I visited the US in September last year, Biden had said that the friendship between India and America can be helpful in finding solutions to many global problems. I completely agree with Biden on this...

In this conversation, Prime Minister Modi also mentioned about the killings of innocent civilians in Bucha. PM Modi said that recently the sad news of killings of innocent civilians in Bucha city came to light which was very worrying. The Government of India condemned this and raised the demand for an impartial investigation into the incident. I am sure that the friendship between India and America will make an unprecedented contribution to the journey of development over the next 25 years.

At the same time, US President Joe Biden said that it is always a pleasure to meet Prime Minister Modi. Two Indian ministers and ambassador are present here. India and America are working together on serious global issues like the Kovid epidemic, challenges in the health sector. India is also a strong partner of the US in the defense sector. This meeting with Prime Minister Modi is also very important in giving direction to the 2+2 ministerial dialogue between India and the US. I am also congratulating PM Modi for this meeting.

This meeting took place in the midst of 'two plus two' ministerial talks between the two countries. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh are present in Washington. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki says Joe Biden will urge Prime Minister Modi to take a tough stand against Russian aggression. That is, obviously the issue of Ukraine war can also arise in this meeting. Keep in mind that both Russia and America are constantly trying to make India in their favour.

Meanwhile, news agency ANI has said in its report that after five years of continuous efforts, India and the US will sign the Space Situational Awareness (SSA) Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). If this agreement is reached then it will be a big deal between the two countries. Under this, both the countries will exchange data on satellites and other assets in case of danger.
